Terrific App - One of my Favorites

For $.99 you can’t beat an app that does what Apple left out very nicely, buy it and you will be happy. Things I would like to see in a future release: 1) the ability to search the address book by name for an existing phone number and dial from the very handy notification center widget (currently you can only dial a number from the notification widget but you can search the address book from the full app), and 2) automate the process a bit more so that when you dial with the app or the widget you don’t have to click the Call button in a FaceTime pop up to actually dial. Great app!

Update: asked a few questions of the developer who is very responsive. Apparently having to click the Call button on the FaceTime pop up window after entering a number in Keypad is a limitation of Apple, no big deal, just click the return/enter key on the keyboard and it will call. Also, while the dialer doesn’t yet work to enter numbers on a phone system tree (press 1 for this or 2 for that) you can simply click the number keys on your keyboard and that will do it (this didn’t seem to work for me under 10.10.1, but does work under 10.10.2). This has become one of my favorite apps.
